1. Introduction

Lever Point Consulting, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website leverpointconsulting.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use and protect that information, and what rights you may have regarding your data. We are committed to handling your information transparently and responsibly.

This policy is written in plain language. If you have any questions after reading it, please contact us at admin@leverpointconsulting.com.

2. Who We Are

Lever Point Consulting, LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Our website is built and hosted on the Squarespace platform (Squarespace, Inc., 225 Varick Street, New York, NY 10014). Squarespace acts as a data processor on our behalf, meaning it stores and handles data according to our instructions and its own privacy and security standards. We are the controller of the personal data collected through this Site.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information depending on how you interact with the Site:

Information You Provide Directly

  • Name: Collected when you submit a contact or inquiry form, or book a service or consultation.

  • Email address: Collected through contact forms and scheduling requests so we can respond to you.

  • Form submission content and messages: The content of any inquiry, question, or message you send us through the Site.

Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address: Your internet protocol (IP) address is automatically logged by our hosting platform (Squarespace) as a standard part of web server operation. It may be used to detect general geographic location (country or region) and to support security.

  • Analytics and usage data: We collect data about how visitors interact with the Site, including pages viewed, time spent, traffic source (e.g., how you found us), device type, and browser type. This is collected through Squarespace's built-in analytics system.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: Squarespace places cookies on your browser when you visit the Site. See Section 6 (Cookies) for full details.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect sensitive categories of information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health or medical information, biometric data, or government-issued identification numbers through this Site. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our Site, please contact us immediately at admin@leverpointconsulting.com.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and messages submitted through contact or inquiry forms.

  • To confirm, schedule, and manage service bookings or consultations you request through the Site.

  • To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content and functionality (using aggregated analytics data).

  • To maintain the security and integrity of the Site and detect misuse or fraudulent activity.

  • To comply with applicable legal obligations, including Georgia's data breach notification requirements under the Georgia Personal Identity Protection Act (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-911 et seq.).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only in the limited circumstances described below:

  • Squarespace (hosting and platform provider): Our Site is hosted by Squarespace, which processes visitor data as part of providing website infrastructure, analytics, and form handling. Squarespace stores data on servers in the United States. You can review Squarespace's privacy policy at squarespace.com/privacy.

  • Scheduling and booking tools: If you use our online scheduling feature, your booking information (such as your name, email, and selected time) may be processed by Squarespace's scheduling functionality or a third-party scheduling tool integrated into the Site.

  • Analytics providers: Squarespace's built-in analytics system processes usage data on our behalf. If we have connected Google Analytics or another third-party analytics tool, that provider may also receive usage data. We note that a live audit of all active third-party integrations was not performed at the time of drafting this policy; you should verify which integrations are currently active in your Squarespace settings.

  • Legal compliance and protection: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lever Point Consulting, our users, or others.

  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business, personal information we hold may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction.

We do not share your personal information with any other third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide reporting information. The cookie information in this section is based on Squarespace's published documentation about the cookies their platform typically sets. We have not performed a live technical audit of every cookie currently active on this Site; for a fully accurate inventory, you can use a browser extension such as a cookie inspector or ask your consent management platform to scan the Site.

Types of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be disabled. They enable core features such as page loading, security protections (including CSRF attack prevention), and session management. Squarespace sets these automatically.

  • Analytics and Performance Cookies: Squarespace sets cookies that track visits, unique visitors, page views, traffic sources, and device type. These cookies populate the data in Squarespace Analytics. One cookie tracks unique visitors and lasts up to two years; another tracks individual browsing sessions and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. This data helps us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.

  • Third-Party Analytics Cookies: If Google Analytics or similar tools are connected to the Site, those providers may place their own analytics cookies. These cookies collect similar usage information and send it to the respective provider. Google's privacy policy can be reviewed at policies.google.com/privacy.

  • Scheduling and Functional Cookies: If you use our booking or scheduling feature, related cookies may be set to maintain your session and preferences during that interaction.

Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways. Most web browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Please be aware that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of this Site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics data collection by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. If we display a cookie consent banner on the Site, you can use it to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with legal requirements. Specifically:

  • Contact form submissions and inquiry messages are retained for as long as needed to address your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of follow-up.

  • Booking and scheduling records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward for business records purposes.

  • Analytics data is aggregated and retained by Squarespace in accordance with its data retention policies.

  • We will delete or anonymize personal information when it is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we collect from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Because this Site is hosted on Squarespace, Squarespace's security infrastructure, encryption, and server-side protections apply. However, no website or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You transmit information to the Site at your own risk, and we encourage you to use secure networks when submitting sensitive information online.

Under the Georgia Personal Identity Protection Act (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-911 et seq.), we are required to notify affected Georgia residents if their unencrypted personal information is acquired by an unauthorized person in a data breach. We will comply with this obligation and with any other applicable breach notification requirements.

9. Georgia Consumer Privacy Protection Act (GCPPA)

The Georgia Consumer Privacy Protection Act (SB 111, Act 462) became effective on July 1, 2026. Lever Point Consulting, LLC is a small business. The GCPPA applies to businesses that meet specific applicability thresholds based on the volume and commercial use of consumer data. We do not believe we currently meet those thresholds based on our size and operations. However, because the law has only recently taken effect, we are disclosing this status transparently. We are committed to responsible data practices regardless of our statutory coverage. If you have questions about how we handle your data, please contact us at admin@leverpointconsulting.com.

10. Your Privacy Rights (US Residents)

While Georgia has only recently enacted its first comprehensive consumer privacy law (effective July 1, 2026), visitors to this Site may reside in other US states that have their own privacy laws granting consumers specific rights. We respect those rights and will honor reasonable requests. Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.

  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format where technically feasible.

  • Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information, so no opt-out mechanism for data sales is required. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at admin@leverpointconsulting.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and describe your request. We will respond within a reasonable time and no later than required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

11. Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at admin@leverpointconsulting.com.

12. Links to Third-Party Sites

The Site may contain links to external websites or services that are not operated by us. We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or policies of those third-party sites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law, or the Squarespace platform. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
